GINA GIGLI
Welcome to the Art Collection of Gina Gigli. As the "Artist-Half" of Villa Gigli Press, Gina Gigli creates etchings, collages, giclees, posters, books, cards and masks on or with paper -- alla carta. Ruggero Gigli prints her etchings and is her agent.
The Gigli studio is filled with paper products -- hand-formed, pH neutral, cotton papers imported from the ancient Magnani Mills in Pescia, Italia. Along with sheets of etching paper, are crumpled tissue papers for mask-making and trial-proof etchings ready to be torn up for collage-making. Sketch books and journals abound, and stacks of computer papers are used for writing stories.
The completed unframed etchings, collages, giclees, posters, masks, books and cards are stored in stacked wooden drawers or are hung framed on the walls of their bottega, waiting to be adopted into good homes!
