Canyon

Artist Gina Gigli etches and aquatints abstract images of High Sierra mountain scenes on zinc plates, often by designing pure white embossments between plates to signify sky, snow, ice, or water.

Printer Ruggero Gigli hand pulls each image onto imported Italian Magnani cotton paper in limited editions of 50, using traditional sepia ink.

Each unframed etching measures 22"x30" and is signed in pencil by the artists.
