Artist Gina Gigli incorporates her knowledge of ampelography – identification of grapevines – by etching and aquatinting Wine Theme images into zinc plates, using asphalt, twisted steel points, lacquer sprays, and nitric acid.

Printer Ruggero Gigli blends jewel-tone colors of ink directly on the plates and hand pulls each image onto 22”x30” imported Italian Magnani cotton paper in limited editions of 50.

Each unframed etching measures 22"x30" and is signed in pencil by the artists.
